Brechin City chairman Ken Ferguson has resigned from the SPFL board - just 10 days before a controversial decision which could ultimately save his club from losing their league status.

Now SPFL chiefs are facing another chaotic end to the season after admitting Kelty Hearts’ and Brora Rangers’ pathway to the pro set-up could be blocked for a second year running.

Pyramid play-offs will go ahead after legal approval

The Scottish FA and Scottish Professional Football League can confirm that the Play-Off Match will go ahead between Brora Rangers and Kelty Hearts, and that the Pyramid Play-Off Match against SPFL Club 42 will also take place.

Los geht´s am Dienstagabend, zuerst hat Brora Heimrecht. Samstag darauf treffen sich die Highland- und Lowland-Meister dann in Kelty wieder.

Da hat es Morton gerade noch mal so geschafft, und auch bei Edinburgh City war es sehr knapp (Auswärtstorregel gibt es ja nicht, meine ich? Also hätte es beim 1:2 nach dem 1:0-Hinspielsieg Verlängerung gegeben?). Die tolle Saison von Cove ist damit vorbei, ich bin mal gespannt, wer sich jetzt durchsetzt. Dumbarton und Morton wahren auf jeden Fall beide noch die Chance auf den Klassenerhalt.

Schade, Killie wird leider zu stark für Dundee sein. Wäre echt zu schön, Hamilton und Killie runter (gleich zwei Kunstrasenplätze weg wäre super) und mit Hearts und Dundee zwei Stadtderbys... Der Doppeltausch hätte was.
