Hearts sign striker Kyle Lafferty on two-year deal

Hearts have finally captured the signing of Kyle Lafferty following a protracted period of negotiations. The Northern Ireland striker has agreed a two-year deal to spearhead the Tynecastle side’s attack as Ian Cathro bids to lead them back to the upper echelons of the Scottish Premiership in the upcoming season.

Finde ich grundsätzlich gut, wenn Spieler mit diesen Qualitäten wieder zurückkommen. Und die hat er eigentlich immer noch.

Wirklich stark. Hoffentlich muss man ihn nicht immer aus dem Pub abholen um zum Spiel rechtzeitig zu kommen. Wenn nüchtern dann sehr stark.

Und schon der erste Klops! 
Nach den Gesprächen mit uns war noch ein anderer Termin in Edinburgh anberaumt, nämlich bei unserem kleinen Nachbarn aus Leith, der ebenfalls an einer Verpflichtung Laffertys interessiert war. Doch Berater Keith Gillespie und Neil Lennon warteten vergeblich auf den Stürmer. Der erschien gar nicht erst und unterschreib zeitgleich, ohne wenigstens seinen Berater zu informieren, bei uns.
Wat ein asoziales Verhalten.........

Hearts have today completed the signing of defender Michael Smith on a two-year deal, subject to international clearance.
The 28-year-old right back, capped at international level for Northern Ireland, joins the Jambos from English League One side Peterborough United for a nominal fee.

New boy Ashley Smith-Brown can’t wait to pull on the maroon jersey for the first time after agreeing a move to Tynecastle.
The 21-year-old left wing back will formally join the club on a season long loan from Manchester City in the next 72 hours, having spent last season on loan at Dutch Eresdivisie side NAC Breda.

Gary Locke leaves Cowdenbeath to rejoin Hearts

Gary Locke is to make a surprise return to Hearts three years since being relieved of his duties as Tynecastle manager. The 42-year-old is leaving his job as Cowdenbeath manager to replace John Robertson, who rejoined Inverness Caledonian Thistle last month. Locke will hold the title of principal ambassador, working full-time in Hearts' commercial department and as a club ambassador on matchdays. He will also monitor players Hearts loan to other teams alongside director of football, Craig Levein. Owner Ann Budge wanted to replace Robertson with another popular ex-player who has a good relationship with fans and sponsors, hence the approach for Locke.

Der letztjährige Kapitän Perry Kitchen hat das Trainingslager in Dublin verlassen und ist bei Verhandlungen bei Randers in Dänemark. Angeblich soll keine Ablöse fließen, wir hätten ihn nur von den Gehaltsliste.

Cathro bastelt weiter am Kader von Nordirland B..... äähhh, unseren Hearts! 
Laut Scottish Sun sollen wir unsere Fühler nach Michael McGovern ausgestreckt haben. Der ehemalige Accies-Keeper ist bei Norwich nur Nummer 2 (erst verlor er seinen Platz an John Ruddy, jetzt wurde Angus Gunn geholt) und damit unzufrieden.
Wäre einerseits ein starker Transfer, andererseits frage ich mich, was Hamilton in Cathros Augen groß falsch macht.....

Connor Randall joins Jambos

Hearts have today completed the signing of Connor Randall on loan from Liverpool FC.
The 21-year-old versatile midfielder will join up with Ian Cathro’s squad for the duration of the 2017/18 campaign.
Connor is a product of the Liverpool Academy and has been a regular for Liverpool U23s in recent years.
