Ex-Rangerstalent Steven Lennon genießt inzwischen das entspannte Leben auf Island:
Laid-back Steven Lennon finds happiness in Iceland as he targets Champions League
His travels have taken him from Scotland to England, Ireland, Wales and Norway, but Steven Lennon has found the "perfect" home just south of Reykjavik in Iceland.
Lennon came through the ranks at Rangers and made his debut, aged 18, in December 2006 when he replaced Nacho Novo near the end of an away defeat by Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
He made two further appearances in light blue that season before being loaned to Partick Thistle and then Lincoln City in the years that followed.
It was plain his days at Rangers, the club he had joined as a 10-year-old, were nearing an end.
More than a decade later and Lennon, now 29, has found personal and professional happiness playing for FH Hafnarfjördur.

Er gibt dann ja zumindest im Artikel auch zu, dass das eher scherzhaft gemeint war- aber es Blickfänger macht sich die Überschrift natürlich besser In den letzten Jahren sind ja schon so einige Schotten in Island gelandet.

Charlie Telfer, zuletzt 3 Jahre bei Dundee United, spielt jetzt auch im Ausland. Der Mittelfeldspieler kickt die kommende Saison bei Almere City in der niederländischen Jupiler League.

Jugendnationalspieler Charlie Gilmour, Anfang des Monats nach 13 Jahren Arsenal zu Norwich City gewechselt, wird für diese Saison in die 2. niederländische Liga an den SC Telstar ausgeliehen. Bin mal gespannt, was er so bringt und werde ihn am 4. Spieltag live sehen, wenn sein Club auswärts bei N.E.C. ran muss.
