Some ITKs claim to have heard of a verbal agreement between Villa and ManUtd regarding a loan deal for Zaha in January and the media gladly picked that up. Let's see how that rumour develops.

Since there are only very loose links at the moment, I just post a list of the player linked with us during the last couple of days:
Piotr Parzyszek, Gregory Sertic, Valon Berisha, Jürgen Locadia and Paulo Regula.
Until now, there is nothing really concrete so we just have to be patient and see, what Lambert can and will do.

Latest reports of Bild are linking us with Sebastien Pocognoli of Hannover 96. I could actually see a deal happen, maybe as a loan with an option to buy.

Another rumour making the rounds is a possible interest in Simeon Slavchev. Why not?

Right now the situation seems to be as follows: Lambert wants three players to join the team during January, with the three being:
- an experienced player to link midfield and attack who would improve the play of the players around him but wouldn't cost much and isn't a big name as such. This player has already been identified by Lambert.
- a well-known player (position unknown) to give the club a lift. This would be a loan only and the funds have already been requested by Lambert.
- a mixture between a defender and a holding midfielder, further details unknown.
Let's see how much of his plan Lambert can do this transfer window. The key areas have imo been identified, now it's down to the money.

According to the media we have made a 1.5m offer for Wes Hoolahan, a player that I would love to see in our team, who could improve our attacking play and could give us a lot more options going forward.

Chris Hughton insists 'no bids for Wes Hoolahan have been made'.

Steven Defour, Lewis Holtby and Nahki Wells are the latest names making the rounds.

The Nahki Wells thing is getting hotter, looks like a great player even though he comes from the lower leagues.
